Throwback Track: Everyday-Dave Matthews Band

Oh so I forgot to mention that since its 2010, I'm gonna include the early 2000's in the throwback tracks =]

I liked Dave Matthews Band. I know people usually hate on him or them, but they're cool. Had some nice songs.

It's Amazing. So Amazing.

Just want to thank my co-worker Mike for being nice and giving me his second copy of this.

"I got two of these in the mail, and I was wondering what to do with the 2nd, and I thought 'I should give this to Francis'"

MY HERO

I just got done reading this book, and I'm pretty sure I love this man more than I did before. A lot of negative things are spoken about him from the times when he was alive even until this present day(yesterday actually) and most of it, if not all of it, is straight ignorance. A lot of people don't understand and at times don't want to understand what he stood for, and its sad. He was a symbol for improvement. Be it, black people, Islam, or America itself. He spoke the truth and people hated him for it. He was an extreme person because he had to be that way in an extreme time. If anyone took the time out to educate themselves on this man, they would see and understand, hopefully, his importance, to not only black people or Muslims, but America as a whole, and the change that it endured and the change that it still needs.

May 19th was his birthday and it's been a personal holiday for me for a couple of years. Rest in peace Malcolm X

MPW: NO AGE

Classic fuck up on my part. Found out about these dudes in 08 and never gave em the time of day. Now at the start of 2010, they're like my favorite band. I'm super dumb, I need to change. But until then, check their album Nouns out. You wont regret it...

Nouns

*A good mix of their music is on the playlist if you havent listened to it yet.
