Theotis Beasly:NIKE SB VIDEO DEBACLE

If you're a skateboarder and you meet pros and its a nervous and exciting thing. Skateboarding videos and interviews show a skater's personality and when you meet that skater you may expect to see that come across. I have met nice pros, and asshole pros. But the best experience was meeting Theotis Beasly in Davis. He actually came up to Us(me and caleb and danny) and shook our hands and introduced himself which is very rare in my experiences with pro's or ams. He didnt want us clear out or look at us like we were little shits who couldn't skate as good as him; he was like a friend who was happy to be around other skaters. So everytime I see something about Theotis, I get hyped and Caleb gets hyped because we can really support a really nice guy in a sport filled with assholes and cocky ppl who appear to skate because they know they can or they want to get sponsored and shit and not because its pure fun and enjoyment
So this is his part in the new Nike SB video Debacle he shares with Shane O'Neill. Its fucking dope! Thanks Caleb.

MY TOP 3 SONGS FROM MIKE

Whether you liked him or you didnt, whether you clowned him or you didnt, whether he meant something to you or not, you can't deny his music. In fact, thats what is keeping his spirit alive besides all of the scandal and other shit we've come to know about Michael. I'm not going to say I didnt clown him or laugh at Michael jokes, we all have. For one because they were funny, and second, because they were true. Dude was a weird cat and did weird things but he was about love and peace, and unity. And you would be hard pressed to find someone who doesnt like a song by him. Even if his death didnt shake you at all, or if you just flat out didnt like him towards the end of him time, you know damn well he made you dance. He made you imitate him. He paved the way for all these R&B singers who sing and dance, but know one has even come close to him. Well, James brown was singing and dancing before him I think but you know Mike took that shit up another notch. So in tribute of Mike and the Throwback Tracks, I'm posting my absolute top 3 favorite songs from Mr. Jackson. Enjoi.

I'm willing to put my money up on Pac Div(Pacific Division)against any hip hop group out right now. They're sound is perfect. They're lyrics are perfect. They're topics are perfect. Its a shame more people don't know about them. Their mixtape was cool but the songs that came after it like the opening track on the playlist "Paper" or "Women Problems" or "Taste" or "F.A.T. Boys" just shows how much they have grown since they were really on the scene. And with a 3 song EP that came out earlier this year, they're still shitting on like every group in hip hop. Not to mention, they're from Cali =] L.A. to be exact =]

Is America Bored?

When I'm in a grocery store or a book store or wherever gossip magazines are sold and I look at those magazines and see what the topic is, I ask myself, "Are we that bored?" I wont lie. I am interested for maybe 5 minutes in these gossip stories about Brad and Jen and Angelina or Britney, or Whitney or Will and Jada. They're celebs I guess we're supposed to be interested, but then we move on. It's a shame when we were are glued to our tv sets and laptop screens when a normal family have 8 kids and have marital problems. Oh you must know that I am talking about John and Kate. Larisa gave the low down on their whole situation awhile ago and for the life of me, I could not understand why the American public was so interested. Then she said he's suspected of cheating or something and then I said "OOOOOHHHH I see now". SCANDAL SCANDAL SCANDAL

Ever since that conversation, I have been seeing these people in the news alot and it irritates me every single time. I am used to seeing celebs in the news. There are times when I really wonder why they are in the news but my curiosity for them does not compare to John and Kate. I have to come to the conclusion that Americans are supremely bored. Normal people who could live next door to you in any suburb or hood or city are in the news for what? Having 8 kids? Because they had a reality show? And then you have people trying to pass judgement on them about parenting. They're on the cover of a magazine because Kate spanked her kid. Ridiculous. I mean this shit cant be entertainment. It's not funny. So what is it? Why is a family the talk of the country? I know we're in bad times and we like to get away from it by doing things but giving our time and energy to reading about a family with 8 kids??? You have to be kidding me man. Until someone gives me some real good insight on shit like this I will have to assume that people in this country are as bored as security working six high school graduations in one day.

side note: kids need they're asses beat now more than ever.
